Heaton Chapel railway station serves the Heaton Chapel and Heaton Moor districts of Stockport, in Greater Manchester. The station is 4½ miles (7 km) south of Manchester Piccadilly towards Stockport The station was renamed from ''Heaton Chapel & Heaton Moor'' to ''Heaton Chapel'' on 6 May 1974. The station is covered by a Ditra Systems Public Address System (PA), voiced by Phil Sayer. ==Service== Four trains per hour go towards Manchester Piccadilly northbound. These services come from Crewe, Chester, Stoke-on-Trent and Alderley Edge (hourly from each). There are also four trains each hour from Piccadilly to one of Alderley Edge, Buxton, Crewe or . There are additional Crewe & Buxton services in the evening peak, plus two services to via Hazel Grove.
